Kalurahan Sawahan

Sawahan (SID) – Sawahan Village Government had released its first  website. It used an application called “Sistem Informasi Desa”. This application was developed by Combine Resource Institution (CRI) and Gunungkidul District Government. It will be used by 144 Villages Government in Gunungkidul this year. Gunungkidul will be the piloting District Government which develope and apply Sistem Informasi Desa in Special Region of Yogyakarta (Daerah Istimewa Yogyakarta) and Indonesia.

Gunungkidul District Government had programs to make all Villages Government in Gunungkidul use this application. Gunungkidul District Government provided domain to all villages in Gunungkidul. Now, Every Village Government has domain, hosting and application to be online on the internet. Villages also reached program 1000 News from 144 Villages’s Website on Gunungkidul’s 185th Birthday. 999 news was entered from Villages, and  the last one entered by Immawan Wahyudi, vice-regent of Gunungkidul.

Sistem Informasi Desa had been applied first in Patuk and Panggang subdistrict since 6 years ago. It was used to help all of job in Village Government, like servicing public efficiently, information system media, transparency in public, etc.

Sawahan Village Government had been started online since a month ago, at May  12th 2016. The respons of public citizens were so amazing. A month released it was visited by more than 5000 visitors. Suprapto, Head of Village Government said “We use this application to promote all of local potential in our village and we try to develope this application to service public efficiently”.

He hoped to all citizens of Sawahan village supporting the Government to participate promoting their local potential. He said “Let’s explore our local potential like tourism and others to promote our village”. (rizkya)
